The food world’s night of nights was held at Restaurant Hubert in Sydney on 22 August, where the winners of the 2019 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards were revealed and the latest Australian Restaurant Guide was launched.
The Old World glamour of French-influenced Hubert provided the ideal backdrop to the gala event, presented in partnership with Vittoria Coffee and Santa Vittoria. And there was plenty to toast, from Quay being named Restaurant of the Year to the crowning of young seafood savant Josh Niland the new Chef of the Year. Here’s the night in pictures.
